Korean drama (Korean: 한국드라마) refers to televised dramas, similar to Western miniseries, produced in the Korean language for Korean audiences. Many of these dramas have become popular throughout Asia and have contributed to the general phenomenon of the Korean wave, known as "Hallyu", and also "Drama Fever" in some countries. Most popular Korean dramas have also become popular in other parts of the world such as Latin America, the Middle East, and elsewhere. Some of the most internationally popular Korean dramas are Winter Sonata, Dae Jang Geum, Full House, Stairway to Heaven, My Girl, My Lovely Sam Soon, Love Story in Harvard, Shining Inheritance, Autumn in My Heart, Princess Hours, 1st Shop of Coffee Prince, Yi San, Shining Inheritance and Boys Over Flowers.
ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation (PSE: ABS and ABSP; ABS-CBN: "Alto Broadcasting System-Chronicle Broadcasting Network") is a Philippine-based multi-media conglomerate. AZN Television (formerly called International Channel) promoted itself as "the network for Asian America". It was run by International Networks, a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast Corporation. The channel’s programming targeted the fast-growing, young, affluent, English-speaking Asian American community. Genres included the most popular Asian films, dramas, documentaries, music and anime as well as a diverse slate of original programming. It competed in certain markets with ImaginAsian Television.

As the show's first cast member of Asian descent, he has played Asian and Asian American celebrities and political figures including Kim Jong-il and Connie Chung. He's also played non-Asian roles including John McCain, Seth MacFarlane (as Stewie Griffin from Family Guy), Jai Rodriguez, and The Penguin from the "Batman" series. Lee performs regularly at the legendary Comedy Store in West Hollywood, California.[1]
