Andorra first participated at the Olympic Games in 1976. They have appeared in every games since they entered. They have also appeared in every Winter Olympic Games since 1976.

Albania first participated at the Olympic Games in 1972. They missed the next four games but returned for the 1992 games in Barcelona. They have appeared in all games since then. They made their Winter Olympic Games debut in 2006.

Algeria first competed at the Olympic Games in 1964, and has participated in every Summer Olympic Games since then, except for the boycotted 1976 Summer Olympics. Algeria has also sent athletes to the Winter Olympic Games twice.

American Samoa has competed in 6 Summer Games. In partial support of the American-led boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics, Andorra competed under the Olympic Flag instead of its national flag.Antigua and Barbuda first competed at the Olympic Games in 1976, and has participated in each Games since then, missing only the 1980 Summer Olympics by participating in the American-led boycott of those games. Antigua and Barbuda has not won a medal in the Summer Olympics and has never competed in the Winter Olympic Games.Armenia first participated at the Olympic Games as an independent nation in 1994, and has sent athletes to compete in every Summer Olympic Games and Winter Olympic Games since then.
